Gallery 101 Presents: Grounds for Goodness

Join us throughout this week for the Ottawa iteration of Grounds for Goodness: a travelling interdisciplinary, participatory project led by Ruth Howard. 

Since 2018, Ruth has been artfully exploring why and how people sometimes do good things towards each other, particularly across different group identities and in times of crisis. Local musicians, dancers, storytellers, artists and community members of all abilities are invited to contribute and bring these important stories to life through song, dance, performance, and art-making. 

The project’s Ottawa residency will unfold in collaboration with No Borders Drummers and Community Voices, Shara Weaver and Propeller Dance, musicians Beverly McKiver, and Kathryn Patricia Cobbler, storyteller Magdalena Jennings, and you – our G101 community! 

Come by throughout the week to participate:  

Evolving gallery and drop-in storytelling activities Wednesday-Saturday, 1:00-5:00 PM 
In-person artist talk on Thursday March 21st,6:30 PM 
Final presentation on Sunday March 24, CORRECTION: 4:00-6:00 PM 

All events are free, and no experience is necessary to participate.
