Privacy

Last updated 19 October 2026.

Gallery 101 is a reference site. You do not need an account, we do not run advertising, and we do not set cookies of our own. This page lists what is collected anyway, and why.

What is collected

Server logs kept by our host

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes each request to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. That request data includes your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. Cloudflare keeps it for a limited period under its own privacy policy, and we use it only to keep the site running and to understand errors.

Visit statistics

If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts page views, referring sites, countries and page load times. It does not use cookies or local storage, and it does not build a profile of you across sites. We will update this page on the day it is switched on.

Search

The search box loads a list of the site's pages and matches what you type against it in your browser. If you press Enter, the search page opens with your query in its address, so the query becomes part of that page request and of the host's logs above.

Suggestions and corrections

The suggestion form is not accepting submissions yet. When it opens, it will collect what you type into it (the gallery, the correction, and an email address only if you choose to give one) so that we can review the suggestion and reply. It will be protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. We will update this page before the form opens.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share personal information.
  • We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
  • We do not ask you to create an account.

If that changes (for example, if we add advertising or affiliate links later), we will say so here first, and explain the choices you have.

Links to other sites

Gallery listings link to the galleries' own websites and to OpenStreetMap. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
